BORGO LE VIGNEHow many wonderful reasons are there to spend a day, a couple of nights, a weekend or a short escape immersed in the timeless beauty of Borgo Le Vigne? There are many, of course. Here are just a few that come to mind: the extraordinary setting, nestled in the very place where, in the 1970s, an old vineyard was lovingly tended by its owner; the surrounding landscape, fragrant with fir trees, acacia and lavender; the refined, tailor-made apartments, each one thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail and named after the world of wine and winemaking — La Vinaccia, Il Mosto, L’Uva Rara, L’Acquavite, La Vendemmia and La Barrique.
Then there is the heated saltwater pool, maintained at a perfect 26°C; a delightful breakfast prepared with natural ingredients and carefully selected local produce; and the opportunity to set out on foot or by bicycle through breathtaking landscapes overlooking one of the world’s most cherished lakes. And today, we have one more irresistible reason to make your way to Tignale over the coming weekends: Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, followed by Saturday, October 2 and Sunday, October 3. On these four days, Tignale will celebrate its traditional Truffle Festival, now in its remarkable 28th edition.More than a celebration of one of Italy’s most prized culinary treasures, the festival is a true celebration of the local community, bringing together food, culture, tradition and conviviality, with something to enchant every generation. The festivities will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, with a performance by the Tignale Band. Throughout the four days, the programme will unfold with a rich selection of experiences:
gourmet food and wine tastings, activities for children, scenic walks, live music and theatrical performances. The festival will culminate at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 3, with a concert by the Montecastello Choir. The local restaurants and traditional inns will also join the celebration with special menus created exclusively for the occasion, placing His Majesty the Truffle at the heart of their culinary creations. It is a wonderful opportunity to combine the discovery of one of Italy’s most cherished culinary traditions with a stay in a truly unique setting — surrounded by nature, overlooking Lake Garda and immersed in the extraordinary atmosphere of early autumn. At Borgo Le Vigne, this is the season when the landscape takes on its most captivating hues, while the air is filled with scents that make every moment feel even more intimate and memorable. A place to slow down, savour, explore and simply enjoy the beauty of being here. And there will be much more to tell you about the magic of autumn at Borgo Le Vigne very soon.
